Enjoy a scenic drive from Manali to Sethan/Jobri Nalla via Tempo Traveller. The journey bypasses the previously strenuous ascent from Prini, now replaced by a road, leading to the Jobri nala, the source of the AD hydroelectric project. Pass through apple orchards and diverse forests of blue pine, cedar, oak, fir, and chestnut. Traverse villages like Chhalet, Hampta, and Ghoratbari, each steeped in local lore about being gateways to heaven, with Inderkilla peak as the destination. The trek continues through alpine meadows and mixed forests to the campsite at Uchung Bihadi (Chikka).
Journey through stunning landscapes below Hamta Pass, along a grassy slope beside a mountain stream. The campsite offers breathtaking views of the Tokru-Shakru peaks and the vibrant colors of the surrounding terrain. The Alain Nullah river, originating from Hamta Pass, flows through this area. A steep climb takes you to Hamta Jot (Pass), a traditional crossing point between Kullu and Lahaul valleys. Drive back through the Chandra valley, joining the Manali-Leh Highway near Gramphu. Ascend through numerous hairpin bends to Rohtang Pass, then descend to Manali and Naggar, witnessing the transition from rugged terrain to lush alpine vegetation and forests of Spruce and Deodhar. Overnight camp.
