Day 01 :
MANALI (2050 Meters)

Arrive in Manali, a popular Himalayan town nestled amidst stunning mountain scenery. Check into your hotel and spend the evening exploring Manali's local attractions. Visit the ancient Hadimba Temple, the serene Tibetan Monastery, and wander through the vibrant Manali town market. Overnight in Manali.

Day 02 :
MANALI – KEYLONG/JISPA (3350 Meters) 115 km, 5-6 Hours Drive

Embark on a scenic drive towards Keylong/Jispa, traversing the famous Rohtang Pass (3978 meters). This road, maintained by the Indian Army, is open for a limited period due to heavy snowfall. Witness the dramatic transition from lush green mountains to the barren, trans-Himalayan landscape. Follow the Chandra River, then cross the Bhaga River to reach Keylong, the administrative center of Lahaul and Spiti. Overnight in Keylong/Jispa.

Day 03 :
KEYLONG/JISPA – LEH (3505 Meters) 322 km, 10-11 Hours Drive

Prepare for a long but spectacular drive to Leh, crossing four high-altitude passes. The route follows the Bhaga River, ascending to Baralacha Pass (4891 meters). The landscape transforms into a lunar-like expanse. Cross Nakeela Pass, Lachungla Pass, and Tanglangla Pass (5445 meters), experiencing the raw, unparallel beauty of the region. Finally, follow the Indus River to reach Leh, the capital of Ladakh. Overnight in Leh.

Day 04 :
LEH LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Explore the cultural and historical heart of Ladakh. Visit the imposing Leh Palace, a 17th-century architectural marvel. Discover Shey Palace, home to Ladakh's largest golden Buddha statue. Explore Thiksey Monastery, perched on a hill overlooking the Indus Valley. Visit Sindhu Darshan and Stok Palace. Conclude the day with a serene visit to Shanti Stupa, offering panoramic views of Leh town. Overnight in Leh.

Day 05 :
LEH – PANGONG LAKE (4267 Meters) – LEH (154 km one way, 4-5 Hours Drive)

Journey to the breathtaking Pangong Lake, a high-altitude brackish lake stretching across the Indo-China border. Drive through picturesque villages and cross Changla Pass (5475 meters). Marvel at the stunning blue waters of Pangong Lake, surrounded by towering mountains. Return to Leh in the evening. Overnight in Leh. (Optional: Add an overnight camp at Pangong Lake for an extra day.)

Day 06 :
LEH – NUBRA VALLEY (DESKIT) (3048 Meters) 150 km, 5-6 Hours Drive

Drive over Khardungla Pass (5578 meters), the world's highest motorable road, offering breathtaking views of the Indus Valley and Karakoram Range. Descend into Nubra Valley, a unique desert landscape. Visit Deskit, the main village, and explore the rolling sand dunes of Hunder. Optional: Enjoy a Bactrian camel safari in Hunder (extra cost). Overnight in Deskit/Hunder.

Day 07 :
NUBRA VALLEY – LEH 150 km, 5-6 Hours Drive

Drive back to Leh, retracing the scenic route over Khardungla Pass. Overnight in Leh.

Day 08 :
DEPART LEH

Depart from Leh airport in the morning, concluding your Ladakh adventure.
