The trek starts from the village Jagatsukh which is 6 KM from Manali on the left bank of river Beas and climbs up to the lake Chandertaal, the base of Deo Tibba peak 6001 Mts. The lake Chandertal here may not be mistaken to the spring fed lake of Spiti valley.
Sudden appearance of beautiful mountains, roaring waterfalls, high cliffs and big grassy grounds with alpine flowers are breathtaking in its beauty.

Day 01 :

REPORT AT BASE CAMP NAGGAR/MANALI (1850 Mts ).

Forenoon: Acclimatization trek to Naggar's heritage: castle, art gallery, temples.

Afternoon: Trek orientation and preparation. Evening bonfire with an adventure movie.

Day 02 :

NAGGAR – JAGAT SUKH – KHANOOL – CHHIKA (3160 Mts.) 4/5 Hrs.

Drive to Khanool (18 km). Trek begins, winding through pine forests, cliffs, and alpine vegetation to Chhika camp near Nag Devta temple.

Day 03 :

CHHIKA TO SERI (3620 Mts.) 6/7 Hrs.

Gradual uphill trek through alpine flowers and herbs, with mountain and waterfall views, to Seri ground camp.

Day 04 :

SERI – TAINTA (4070 Mts.) 3/4 Hrs.

Trek to Tainta/Chandertaal camp. Initial steep climb, then traverse glacial streams. (Snow cover in May-June may cause difficulties.)

Day 05 :

TAINTA - CHANDERTAL (4480 Mts.) - TAINTA (4070 Mts.) 3/4 Hrs.

Day trip to Chandertal glacial lake (snow-covered until mid-June), with Deo Tibba views. Return to Tainta camp.

Day 06 :

TAINTA – CHHIKA (3160 Mts.) 5/6 Hrs.

Descend back to Chhika camp.

Day 07 :

CHHIKA - KHANOOL – NAGGAR 3/4 Hrs.

Descend to Khanool and drive back to Naggar.

Day 08 :

PROGRAM CONCLUDES AFTER BREAKFAST. Optional Manali sightseeing.
