Embark on the Hamta Pass trek, a historic route from Kullu to Lahaul-Spiti, revealing stunning valleys, snow-capped mountains, and unique rock formations. This trek, ideal for moderately fit adventurers, passes through lush forests and alpine meadows. From Hamta Pass (4270m), a breathtaking panorama unfolds. After a night in Chandra Valley, a Jeep safari and short trek lead to Chandrataal (4270m), a jewel-like lake reflecting snow-clad peaks. Its shores, adorned with alpine flowers, are often visited by birds and nomadic shepherds. Enjoy mesmerizing views of the CB Range and Samundra Tapu glacier.

Day 01 :

REPORT AT BASE CAMP NAGGAR/MANALI (1,850 Mts.)

Forenoon: Acclimatization trek to Naggar's heritage: castle, art gallery, temples.

Afternoon: Trek orientation and preparation. Evening bonfire with an adventure movie.

Day 02 :

NAGGAR - TILGAN THACH (2600 MTS.) 4-5 HRS.

Drive to Jagatsukh, trek starting point. Uphill to Naag Devta temple, then gradual ascent through cedar, spruce, and oak forests to Tilgan Thach campsite.

Day 03 :

TILGAN THACH - SAROTU (3200 MTS.) 5-6 HRS.

Gradual uphill through boulders and meadows, then dense forests to Sarotu, an alpine pasture with panoramic mountain views.

Day 04 :

SAROTU - UCHUNG BIHADI (3000 MTS.) 4-5 HRS.

Descend through Sarotu's lush pastures into the scenic valley to Uchung Bihadi camp.

Day 05 :

UCHUNG BIHADI – BHALU KA GHERA (3500 MTS.) 4-5 HRS.

Trek via Chikka through stunning landscapes below Hamta Pass to Bhalu Ka Ghera (Bear's Den). Potential brown bear sightings.

Day 06 :

BHALU KA GHERA - HAMPTA PASS (4270M) - SHELAA GHORU (3900 MTS.) 7-8 HRS.

Steep ascent to Hamta Pass for panoramic views, then descent and stream crossing to Shelaa Ghoru, a cold campsite.

Day 07 :

SHELAA GORU – CHAATRU – BATAL (3900 MTS.) 4-5 HRS.

Leisurely descent to Chaatru, crossing a stream, then drive to Batal.

Day 08 :

BATAL – KUNZUM PASS (4551 MTS.)- CHANDERTAAL (4270 MTS.) HRS.

Drive to Kunzum Pass, then trek down to Chandertaal lake. Camp near the lake.

Day 09 :

CHANDRATAAL - MANALI (2050 MTS.) 7/8 HRS.

Drive back to Manali via Batal, Chaatru, and Rohtang Pass, through diverse landscapes. Program concludes in Manali.
