The Tosh Valley, a tributary to the renowned Parvati Valley leading to Pin Parvati Pass, begins narrowly at Pulga where the Tosh Nalla converges with the Parvati River. Ascending northward, the valley gradually widens, revealing a succession of vibrant green meadows. The Tosh Glacier, framed by the imposing Papasura peak (6451m), marks the valley’s head, with the Sara Umga Pass offering a gateway to the Lahoul Valley.

Day 01 :

ARRIVAL AT BASE CAMP SARSAI

Acclimatization hike and afternoon mountain sports activities (climbing, ropes). Evening trek briefing and bonfire.

Day 02 :

MANALI – TOSH VILLAGE (2400m) – BUDDHABAN (3020m) 4-5 hrs

Drive to Tosh village. Trek along the Tosh River through pine forests to Buddhaban. Camp among boulders or in natural shelters.

Day 03 :

BUDDHABAN – SHARAM THACH (3505m) 5-6 hrs

Trek along Pulga Nullah (glacier source). Views of Ali Ratni Tibba (Pir Panjal). Ascend through meadows and rhododendron to Sharam Thach. Overnight camp.

Day 04 :

SHARAM THACH – SHAMSHI THACH (3800m) 4-5 hrs

Steep initial climb over snow patches. Follow Tosh River. Descend to Shamshi Thach (valley bowl). Views of Tosh Glacier and Kullu Makalu Peak. Overnight camp.

Day 05 :

SHAMSHI THACH – KUTA THACH (4100m) 3-4 hrs

Ascend to Tosh Glacier snout and continue to Kuta Thach meadow. Overnight camp.

Day 06 :

KUTA THACH – SARA UMGA PASS (4700m) – PUTIRUNI (3800m) 7-8 hrs

Early start for challenging ascent to Sara Umga Pass (high altitude). Panoramic views. Descend through snow and moraine to Putiruni (Lahaul side). Overnight camp.

Day 07 :

PUTIRUNI – CHHOTADARA (3700m) – MANALI (8 hrs Drive)

Early start. Descend to Chhotadara roadhead. Views of Bara-Shigri glacier and Chandra Bhaga range. Drive to Manali. Program concludes.
