Day 01 :

Drive to Manali by Volvo Bus

This day marks the beginning of your journey, as you travel to Manali by Volvo bus. This allows for a comfortable overnight journey to the starting point of your expedition, and allows for rest before the trek.

Day 02 :

Check in a Hotel in Manali

Upon arrival in Manali, you'll check into a hotel. This day is dedicated to settling in and preparing for the upcoming days. It's a chance to rest after the bus journey and make any last-minute adjustments.

Day 03 :

Acclimatization and Expedition Preparation

Forenoon: You'll engage in an acclimatization walk around Manali. This is crucial for your body to adjust to the altitude, reducing the risk of altitude sickness during the higher parts of the trek.

Afternoon: The afternoon is dedicated to orientation and preparation for the Yunam Peak expedition. This includes briefings about the route, safety procedures, and equipment usage. The day ends with an adventure movie and a bonfire, fostering a sense of camaraderie.

Day 04 :

Manali – Jispa (3200 Meters)

After breakfast, you'll drive to Jispa. The journey includes a stop at Rohtang Pass (3979 meters) for an acclimatization walk, further aiding in altitude adjustment. You'll then continue the drive via Keylong to Jispa, where you'll stay overnight in a hotel.

Day 05 :

Jispa – Baralacha Pass (5030 Meters) – Bharatpur (4900 Meters)

An early morning drive takes you to Bharatpur, crossing Baralacha Pass (5030 meters). After spending some time at the pass, enjoying the views and further acclimatizing, you'll descend to Bharatpur. Here, you'll establish the base camp near the road head.

Day 06 :

Ferry of Load to Camp I

This day is dedicated to the logistical task of ferrying supplies from the base camp to Camp I. This ensures that Camp I is adequately stocked for the summit attempt.

Day 07 :

Occupy/Establishment of Camp I

You'll move from base camp to Camp I and establish a more permanent camp at this higher altitude. This allows for further acclimatization and preparation for the summit push.

Day 08 :

Summit and Back to Camp I

This is the summit day. You'll make an early start from Camp I, aiming to reach the summit of Yunam Peak. After summiting, you'll descend back to Camp I for an overnight stay.

Day 09 :

Return from Camp I to Base Camp/Bharatpur

You'll descend from Camp I back to the base camp near Bharatpur. This marks the end of the high-altitude climbing phase of the expedition.

Day 10 :

Drive Back to Manali

You'll drive back to Manali, retracing the route through the Lahaul Valley and over the high-altitude passes. You'll stay overnight in a hotel in Manali.
